Great little hometown diner right off the highway, open for breakfast and lunch with an easy-going atmosphere. Has been in Vacaville for ages. There's never more than a couple minutes wait to get a table, or you can grab a seat at the bar.

Family run, helpful wait staff (she suggested my breakfast burrito and it was a tasty concoction...an explosion of flavors), and vintage appeal. Conveniently located, nice sized parking lot. A couple of minutes away from downtown.

They give so much food! My brother that eats like a linebacker was full. Excellent place!

Great, quick, and very friendly service in this classic diner. Food was a bit above average for the most part, but the gravy was starchy and the bacon was thin and limp like that precooked Costco stuff. Not really home style but filling and nice.

My buddy and I eat here once or twice a week and I just love the friendly staff and the great food. I would highly recommend this place.

Cute old timey place, the potato soup is DELICIOUS and our waitress is just adorable and helpful. I always see this from the freeway and am so glad we finally stopped. Will definitely come again.

My wife and I are here this morning on our way to Napa. The breakfast was outstanding! Our Server suggested some amazing local produced Breakfast Sausages that were excellent!The coffee was hot and strong. Seemed like a local hot spot and we were treated well. Definitely better than any chain that you'll find!

Steak was burnt.. Tasted like charcoal but was cooked on the stove top.. Syrup was watery.. I'm talking literal water.. Over easy eggs were cold.. Country potatoes were basically lays chips.. Toast and coffee were good though.. See it off the freeway all the time and decided to go today but I will not be back

Food could be a bit better. Bacon not to terribly fresh. Just ok.

This has been a historic, iconic, landmark in Vacaville for many years. This is a must stop for a fabulous, wholesome breakfast. The people that work here are truly the magical touch.

This is a cute little place and the food was delicious! I only gave four stars though because I think they could stand to use hair nets and gloves in the kitchen. I have never found hair in my food but still, it's just from a public health point of view ya know...

Hidden gem!! This place is down home country...in the best way! The staff will accommodate you as far as possible and with a spirit of service that leaves you feeling hugged from the inside out. Comfort eating...my favorite kind!Nothing fancy...just good old home cooking that's cooked perfectly. Although, the honey grilled have slices are definitely delicious! I will say, most people on here love their potatoes......I did not. They were dry and not seasoned at all but maybe we caught them on a bad day. Still Wren's Cafe is 1,000% better then IHOP or Denny's or almost any other breakfast and/or lunch restaurant. Again, the service here is Everything! 🤗

Awesome breakfast place. Biscuit and gravy best in town and in bay area (I'm a southern boy) portions are generous. The staff is excellent and very friendly
